We have been manufacturing our products since 1974 and have been working alongside our customers ever since. Years of experience allow us to offer a more personalized service and guarantee the constant quality of our silicone paper.
Having reached maturity, at Itasa we are positive that the key to success lies in constant evolution. Proof of this is that our largest growth has been made in the last five years. This development gives us great versatility in manufacturing labels with the most advanced precision technology in siliconcoated paper. Release liners for labeling makes up for 30% of our production which, when added to our broad knowledge of the adhesive coating and printing processes, positions us as the most guaranteed supplier.
The sheer growth of Itasa is not only reflected in our sales rise of 40%as noted in the past fewyears, but also in a strong investment policy, that has led us to owning the latest silicone and printing technology.
With an investment of close to 30 million Euros, Itasa has become the company which in the last five years has allocated the most resources to incorporating new machinery in the sector. This achievement has amounted to the annual manufacturing capacity of 600 million sqm and allowed us to adapt to the needs of our most demanding customers.
1984 - 2007
Between the years of 1984 and 2007 it incorporates three latest technology silicone machines.
In 2010 its warehouse space doubles in order to keep up with the remarkable growth of the business.
Towards the end of 2011 the company broadens its production capacity with a fourth silicone machine with a speed of 1.000 metres per minute and a width of 1.65 metres. Itasa manages to manufacture a wide range of widths, up to 2.3 metres, allowing the company to offer the most competitive prices on the market.
2012 - 2013
2012 sees the installation of the Flexo Offline printer, with an overall speed of 800 metres per minute. In the same year, Itasa incorporates a new packaging line. In 2013 the company buys two Euromac rewinding machines (one wider, the other for smaller coils as small as 12mm wide).
Itasa expands its facilities in Andoain to make room for future incorporations within its commercial and administrative teams. At the same time, it increases the surface space for laboratories and tests.
Acquisition in Asia reinforcing Itasa's global position. Extension of product range to filmic liners.
